The problem
You take a burst to get one good frame. You edit a favourite and your app saves a copy beside it. Over the years the near-duplicates quietly pile up — the same moment three, four, five times over — until the library is bigger than the memories in it.
Imprint finds them, shows you the best of each, and clears the rest.
How it works
Imprint reads your library on your device and groups photos that look alike. It also finds edited copies and matches each to the original it came from.
Each collection opens with the best shot already picked. Tap to keep or let go — every photo shown big enough to judge, and full screen when you want a closer look.
Delete the rest with one tap. They go to Recently Deleted, where they can be recovered for 30 days. Where an edit meets its original, one more tap lays the edit back onto it.

Edited copies
Editing apps like VSCO, Snapseed and Lightroom often save their result as a new photo beside the original. Imprint spots the pair, marks it in dusk, and can put the edit back where it belongs.
It knows which is which. Imprint reads the photos' own metadata — the editor's signature, adjustment data, RAW versus export — to tell the edit from the original, and asks you only when the files themselves can't say.
The edit becomes a Photos adjustment. Tap Layer and the edit is applied onto the original as a normal, non-destructive edit. Open it in Photos and Revert to Original still works.
The copy can go. With the look safely on the original, Imprint offers to delete the now-redundant duplicate. One press of the shutter, one photo in your library.

The scan, the grouping, the edits — all on your phone, using Apple's own image analysis. Nothing is uploaded, ever.
Deleted photos sit in Recently Deleted for 30 days. Layered edits can be undone with Revert to Original, right inside Photos.
